MANTO MUISCA BY SIU VÁSQUEZ

.

In this piece Siu Vásquez wants to replicate the process of Muisca indigenous technology of weaving, a reflection about time. She wants to commemorate a wonderful forgotten technique, and bring it back to life as a way of resisting this fast paced world and understanding its textile rhythms.
