PATHS - EL DORADO EDIT X WEAVERS OF SAN JACINTO

POSSIBLE PATHS

In San Jacinto, the textile tradition is not preserved: it resists .

In this territory, ravaged by decades of conflict, weaving has been more than a craft: it has been memory, refuge, sustenance. Among the village houses, the swaying of the vertical looms can still be heard, where women like Damaris weave not only fibers, but stories. Almost always to dress tables. Almost never to dress bodies.

That's where this collaboration began.

The proposal was simple but symbolic: to take this technique traditionally used to trace paths of encounter on the table and transform it into garments. Thus was born a capsule consisting of a suit (jacket and pants) woven on a loom, where the shape doesn't impose itself, but rather accompanies the logic of the weave .

The pieces retain the soul of the fabric: the rhythm, the thickness, the geometry of the loom. But now they take on contemporary form and function. It's not just a transformation of support: it's a change of context , a declaration of possibility.

These garments are accompanied by buttons developed by El Dorado Edit together with a laboratory artisan, made from river rock. Each button was handcrafted, conceived as part of the gesture that runs through the entire capsule: giving weight, substance, and time to every detail.

The name of this collection— Paths —is not only literal. It's also symbolic. It speaks to forging new paths so that this technique can live on, adapt, and find spaces where it can exist without fading.

Because dressing a path affirms that what is handmade can continue to move. And that what is traditional doesn't have to stay still.
